Mistakes That Let The Bloggers Paid Less For Their Link

Blogging has become one of the most efficient tools of Internet Marketing. Search Engines’ love for content and advertisers ultimate wish to get linked in some qualitative text is what makes bloggers not only to enhance their readership but also to have some bucks in return. But do all of the bloggers get good price for the link in their content or anywhere else at their blog?

Certainly not! Besides traffic, and PR there are some more things that advertisers look into while buying links, so having a know how of all those and managing the same can let bloggers improve the selling price of their links.

What mistake most of the bloggers make is actually nothing more than ignoring those requirements of the advertisers. Here goes a list of those ignored themes:

  • Offering link to wrong people, i.e. you’ve a good PR5 business blog with enough traffic and RSS subscribers, and you’re offering health links on it.
  • Your blog has enough good content but is not being updated regularly: that’ll make the advertiser suspicious about the blog’s reputation.
  • Your blog has too many outbound links on it, if there’re so, be sure that the content is enough to cover them. Generally there should be not more than three links in +450 words post.
  • Design attracts a lot, so ignoring such important issue may also let many of the advertisers to have U turn from the entrance, i.e. first visit.
  • Most of the bloggers offer 100 words post with three links in it (just for $3 or so), that attracts few of the advertisers, but this is not the market, instead allow an honest review of about +250 words quality post and then price your effort according to that.

Some other mistakes include inefficient communication with advertisers, having unwanted content on the blog, niche blog with external content, limited posts etc, but the mistakes mention above if are reconciled as advised could bring a good market for the contextual links. Having a little research and putting a little effort organizing things certainly brings more fortune.
